As as a transdisciplinary creator, my writings, art, and curation are very eclectic and weave together different kinds of materials, ideas, and themes. Collaboration with fellow humans and non-humans alike is at the core of all I create. I aim to blend theories, genres, and voices in joyful and radical ways, while always rooting in story.

In my intertwined roles as a producer and community engaged artist, I focus on working with artists and community to create and curate collaborative multi-media & multi-disciplined works and spaces that range from print to films to literary, and beyond.

As a consultant and mentor, I work with individuals, groups, organizations, and collectives to help folks discover, unravel, and activate their creative dreams. I also work to guide folks to deepen their work to undo colonial ways of relating. At the core of this work is a praxis of trust and translation, whereby I work with folks to help them express their dreams and ideas in concrete ways, while keeping relationships centred.

In 2020, with two friends, we co-founded the Grounded Futures project where I co-created a couple podcasts and audio projects.

My writings have been published widely in anthologizes, journals, zines, and magazines, and I have written, co-written, and edited five books, published a couple of poems, a short story, and some songs. Recently, I find a lot of joy in writing fiction and working on installations!

I currently live with my kids and partner in Vancouver on Sḵwxwú7mesh, xʷməθkʷəym, səlilwətaɁɬ Lands.
